Trp Tyres
Trp was founded in 1970 as the retail arm of Freiston based Richard Pearson Ltd. A premises was purchased near Perth and the company specialised in the sales and service of potato harvesters. Trp Scotland Ltd is still going strong today promoting Standen Pearson potato machinery and Valtra tractors.
The present owner, Roger Pearson, opened a new depot in Sleaford in 2005. They also sell Standen Pearson and have the largest trading area in the country for Merlo tele-handlers. Potato machinery business is seasonal so the company needed ways to level out the peeks and troughs.
Tony Dimmock recently joined the company as a sales representative. Having started his career in agriculture Tony latterly became a branch manager for a tyre company. Roger and his son Jonathan decided to put Tony's experience to good use and start a new tyre division within Trp Ltd. Mick Barrand was recruited as a fitter and a new vehicle was purchased along with the necessary specialist tools.
Specialising in the agricultural and commerical markets Trp Tyres provide 24 hour cover. If you would like to put their "All round service" to the test then please call Tony or Mick
